I'm in love with big hearts, teary eyes & belly laughs. Those honest, perfectly imperfect memories that make the day you've been planning a treasure to remember. The big and the little stories, filled with playfulness, authenticity and charm. I love that this is always going to be one of your favourite days and I'm so grateful that I'm welcomed into the fold and able to document your story.

 

I'll carry your dress, hold your bouquet and there's a good chance i'll cry when your family start giving their speeches. I'll see the little things- and then I'll meet you on the dance floor, half singing along to the tunes, half capturing you all throwing some of the best shapes of your life.

With my couples, I love hearing all about the details- particularly quirky, rustic, alternative, light and verdant vibes. I love a couple whose cup is half full. I do somersaults at flower crowns! But most of all I'm looking for a connection to you both which means we'll have a great day together. I hope that you'll want to work with me and take half an hour to go and take some amazing couple shots, whether thats against awesome urban backdrops or against stunning natural scenery, and hopefully we can catch a good sunset but whatever happens, you'll have a few minutes together to let your day sink in a little. Think intimate, romantic and natural shots against beautiful backdrops. I'm always aware of the light, but this is your day so we'll work it out together so it all makes sense so your day is stress-free, fun and runs as smoothly as possible.  This is about the two of you and your story as you venture into this wonderful thing called marriage. I'm mad about travelling and love that this is going to be your biggest adventure.

I treasure what I do. My images have a modern, creative, film-like quality and I work to make them better every day. I'll always be open to your ideas, whether that's hiking up a mountain, running across beaches or your whole party wanting to set off smoke bombs. I want to work with you as a couple and get the absolute best out of your big day. Sometimes that involves me taking a step backwards too, which I'll happily do.

 

I intend to capture as much as possible of how your day unfolds as well as all the details you spent months planning. I usually arrive a couple of hours before the ceremony to capture the morning preparations and stay until a couple of songs after your first dance. Afterwards, I go home and craft each image. Not all of them make it, but I hope the ones that do really stand out. 

 

Besides photography, I spend my time searching for sunshine, trying to handstand, screen printing and discovering new swimming spots. I live for making my son laugh.
